• Customer service
• Cash handling
• Team scheduling
• Cleaning
• Some food preparation.

Requirements:

• Motivated, reliable, honest, outgoing and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Applicants must have excellent English and permission to work full time in Australia.

Pizza store manager

DiRoma Pizzeria in Newcastle is looking for a Fulltime store manager 5 days a week 2pm to 8:30pm including weekends.

You will be the face of front of house and have extensive food and wine knowledge, with the ability to train and motivate a team.

About the role

• Be passionate about delivering the highest quality service, with a drive to reach and exceed targets
• Manage wine portfolio, meet with wine companies and attend tastings
• Organize and supervise shifts, keeping within company budget
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Train new and current employees on customer service and sales practices

About You

• A Minimum 3 years' experience in a fine dining restaurant
• Have a strong focus on customer service, relationships and driving consistency
• Acute financial management skills 
• Extensive food and wine knowledge, with the ability to share your knowledge, train and manage restaurant staff to increase company sales
• Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills
• A degree in business or hospitality management, sommelier qualification a plus
