Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Alex and Co . As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategies of our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulation in consultation with owners and management.

- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

- Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and identify areas for improvement in cost control and profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various business initiatives and projects including new restaurants.

- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance.

- Oversee the preparation of financial reports for external stakeholders, such as investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Skills & experience

  • 3 years experience full time in a similar role

 Proficiency in Australian and International Accounting and Reporting standards  Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Demonstrated track record of enhancing financial reports
  • Advise to management to increase profitability short term and long term.
  • Extensive experience in business partnering
  • In depth knowledge of financial KPI’s
